Great News!!!!  Classes are resuming after the covid layoff for vaccinated people.  

 

 

Beginning I – 2 day Glass Fusing – July 29 & 30, 2023 from 10 am to 3 pm, $195 at registration, plus $50 material fee due in class.

Beginning II – 2 day Glass Fusing –  August 12, 13 from 10 am to 3 pm, $195 at registration, plus $50 material fee due in class.

Advanced – 3 day Glass Fusing – Sept 23, 30 and Oct. 1 from 10 am to 3 pm, $295 at registration, plus $60 material fee due in class.

 

(2) One Day Holiday Workshops for small gifts & ornaments –  Nov _, Nov _, dates TBD from 10 am to 3 pm, $ TBD /person at registration for each workshop.  Great for parents and kids

Class Descriptions

I offer Introductory, Beginning I & II, two day workshops and Advanced three day workshops.  I am an experienced glass artist and instructor.  I have taken many different classes, and really enjoy sharing my knowledge with my students.  We also have a lot of fun!  See above for workshop schedule dates and a link to the registration form.

Class size is limited to 6 people.  Please register now to reserve your place!

Beginning 1 Glass Fusing – 2 day

In this class, you will make several fused glass pieces to take home and enjoy or give as gifts, as well as learning techniques for cutting glass, basic design, firing schedules, safety and meet new people interested in glass. No experience is necessary and repeat students are most welcome.

Beginning 2 Glass Fusing – 2 day

Continue to develop your glass fusing skills in preparation for larger, more complex projects.

Advanced Glass Fusing – 3 day

This workshop will be a brief review of the basics, and you will learn so much more.  You will make larger pieces, do a frit painting, mosaic piece, and make a pattern bar to slice up and use in a bowl or dish on the last day. If you have a special project in mind, there will be an opportunity to do that as well.  Specific projects and techniques will vary from class to class.

Holiday Class – 1 day

This one day class in November focuses on ornaments and small glass gifts for the Holiday Season.  Children love this class.  Each child must be accompanied by an adult so come join the fun!
